The sessions were so amazing! For the first session, we were sitting three rows back in section 2, but for the second session we got to sit on the front row, right across from all the General Authority wives and the Auxilliary leaders (Sister Beck, Sister Dalton, and Sister Lant and their counselors). It was so fun to see all of the General Authorities walk in with their wives, and to see how sweet they are together. We shook hands with President and Sister Pinegar, (he is an emeritis Seventy and they were the President and Matron of the Mount Timpanogos temple). It was so amazing to see the speakers up so close, and to be able to literally be at the feet of the Prophet and Apostles. I felt such a witness that they are truly men called of God. I also loved watching the women--my favorites were Sister Uchtdorf and Sister Dibb, who smiled almost the whole time. Then I loved each time Elder and Sister Holland walked by as they left--she always looked down and smiled at Jan and I (probably because we love them and were smiling as we watched them).
On Sunday Jan was working as a Church Health Unit Nurse, and so we got to go early and park under the Conference Center. Mom came with me that time, and we got to sit on the front row again. This time a bunch of people came and either shook our hands or walked by and smiled, including all of the Auxilliary Presidents, plus President Dalquist of the Young Men (who shook our hands), and Elder Grow and Elder Dixon of the Seventy also shook our hands. The talks were amazing again. I just felt the spirit so strongly, and felt so much how much God loves us and wants to help us. I loved getting to hear President Monson speak in person. We were sitting off to the side, but could see him so well. After the session, President Monson walked right in front of us. His daughter, Sister Dibb, came and put her arm around him and said, "That was such a wonderful talk," and put her head on his shoulder. Then he stopped and saw a young boy in the audience. He shook his hand and said, "You make sure to serve a mission, okay?" It was such a touching thing. I would love to have that happen to one of my nephews.
What an amazing weekend! We did get one picture of Mom, Jan and I that I will post if I can figure out how to do it! I just feel so blessed to have a job that allows me to go to Conference, and to associate with men and women of God. I will post some of my favorite quotes in the next few days.

WOW! Jen that is so neat. I wanna go with you next conference if you still work there. If you can get me a ticket. I am so glad you got to go. I bet Ethan would have loved to have gone. He listened to about two talks without moving. I think he is getting ready to listen to at least one session.
I am so impressed by the Prophet. He is such a great and powerful man. He moved my heart so much this conference. Its unbelievable how much one man can change a whole persons perspective on life with one talk.
I am envious in a good way that you got to be there and feel the spirit.
Love ya
and hope you will find your eternal happiness ;)
